why we exist

Frontlines helps protect your missionary investment. So much time, training, and finances go into preparing workers to go do a difficult task in the hardest places on earth.

Yet, 50% of workers leave the field in the first 3 years.

We help missionaries avoid burnout and extend faithful years through heart-focused and church-centered courses, counseling, and consulting through the Frontlines Platform bringing all of your missions tasks into one integrated tool so that more can hear the name of Jesus and more healthy churches can be planted.

1 in 2 Missionaries leave in 3 years.

66% of those departures are preventable.

This amounts to at minimum $60 million loss annually—but the spiritual cost is even greater.

When churches aren’t prepared to vet and care well for those they send, the consequences affect not only missionaries but also their families, teams, and the people they were sent to serve.

The Role of the Church

Missionaries thrive when local churches take responsibility for their spiritual health. A well-supported missionary stays long enough to see churches planted and the gospel proclaimed.

How We Help

We equip churches to care for missionaries' souls by bringing all missions tasks into the Frontlines Platform including:

  • Frontlines Courses

  • Frontlines Consulting

  • Frontlines Counseling

Spiritually Healthy missionaries

Missionary health isn’t just about skills—it’s about godly endurance. Over years of counseling and training, we’ve identified seven essential characteristics for missionaries to endure cross-cultural work. These marks shape everything we do, from training to counseling.

In 2019, Cody and Danny met to discuss missions and missionary care, recognizing the need for better support against burnout and attrition. As they prayed and studied Scripture, they, along with Patrick who joined them, developed the 7 Marks of a Spiritually Healthy Frontline Worker, now the foundation for all training, resources, and counseling. Soon after, Sarah and Kim joined the team, sharing their vision for missionary care.

After years of partnering with churches and missionaries, the Frontlines Platform was developed to help pastors increase valuable time and care for their workers.
